Light-hearted, action-packed and surprisingly deep for what it is, 'The Lego Batman Movie' is more than I expected and hoped for. It's certainly not the most accurate portrayal of the Dark Knight and it's a little messy here and there, but I can't deny that it's a tonne of silly fun and has fantastic looking Lego sets, as well as appearances from some, if not all of the most iconic villains and heroes (and some completely obscure ones that I'm not sure aren't entirely made up) the DC universe has to offer.
Should be entertaining for kids and adults alike.
