It's cliche and over the top, but it's aware of itself in a way that doesn't hurt the film at all. If anything, this is a great comedy that also plays a great tribute to all of Batman's history, while managing to even deliver some emotional moments in this insane story.
If you're a fan of Batman or Lego, you'll definitely love this film.
