So, that was disappointing.
"The LEGO Movie" from 2014 was clearly one of my favourite movies of this decade so far. The jokes as well as the animation, characters and so on were hilarious. Unfortunately, "The LEGO Batman Movie" is pretty much the opposite in my opinion.
The jokes are pretty repetetive an often just dumb and the animation is way too oversaturated. The cut was very hectic and because of the annoying animations you can`t even notice what`s going on on the screen. Asides from that I think the characters are simple but cute and the story has a lot of potential.
It`s not a terrible movie, but in my opinion "The LEGO Movie" was way better.
