Review of The Lego Batman Movie (2017) by Ourtimehascome — 19 Oct 2017

As a children's film, The Lego Batman movie seems to appeal mostly to adults, which isn't surprising considering its generic pileup of references to other media. Much of the humor comes from changing the personality of Batman altogether.

Scenes change so rapidly, the director must have a short attention span. The voice cast is terrible; it's as if they chose people based on their star power alone. Compared to The Lego Movie, it's a letdown, and compared to any other Batman film, it's a disaster.
