Review of The Legend of Zorro (2005) by Ken S — 16 Mar 2013
One would expect a movie about Zorro to be both classy and entertaining. This movie has none of class or style, and is barely entertaining. The plot is just too political and focuses too much on romance, and it amounts to another one of those movies that's way too long for what it is.
Also, the characters are tripe and jaded, and Zorro himself seems more boring and confiscated. The production values are often so low, that you can see it clearly, especially in the train seen near the end.
They seemed to have focused more on explosions that swordplay, and the action scenes, glamorous as they are, seem to make no sense.
