Review of The Legend of Zorro (2005) by Matt M — 23 May 2013
Zorro struggles with keeping his swashbuckling to a minimum as it imposes a threat on California's pending statehood and with his wife's nagging. This sequel to the brilliant Mask of Zorro has very little in common with its predecessor despite most of the same people showing up for its roll call.
Aimed at a younger audience, this film simply does not have a good enough storyline or creativity to forgive its existence, though the visual effects thankfully reserve it a spectacular ending sequence.
