Review of The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires (1974) by Justin W — 08 Sep 2008
Taken from the tail end of Hammer studios this was there attempt to mix the current at the time Kung Fu craze with there more traditional vampire flick. So what you end up with is Peter Cushing giving it his all in his final perfromance as Van Helsing all the while surrounded by Kung fu fighting.
The plot doesn't hold together too well, and several characters really serve little purpose, but when one is Julie Ege thsi can be forgiven.
This is still entertaining enough as the whole thing is jsut crazy enough but really could have been so much better.
