Review of The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires (1974) by Scott M — 24 May 2012
I love bizarre mashups that kinda work, and this attempt by Hammer to save themselves by hooking up with Shaw Brothers is definitely bizarre. Qualifies as a mediocre offering by either studio, but definitely a romp.
John Forbes-Robertson takes some serious getting used to when you're used to Christopher Lee. Still, not much screen time for Dracula, but why should this be any different from any other Hammer Dracula.
All the trademark Shaw Brothers components are there.
