Review of The Legend of Hercules (2014) by Calvin C — 01 May 2014
Renny Harlin is known for his dumb-downed action flicks, but this one is just dumb. Even at 90 minutes, the movie feels long. There is no plot, just slo-mo action scenes after another. Kellan Lutz is not a bad actor, but he isn't a good one either. The entire script cries foul and it is less a tale about one of the most popular Greek Gods than it is a showcase of Lutz's muscles and Harlin's overuse of third rate CGI and PG-13 violence.
