This movie was a great prequel to Ip Man and was a lot better than Ip Man 2. There were many different fight scenes, all of them which were pretty good. I really like the story line of this movie. The only thing I wish it had shown was the when Ip Man was in Hong Kong with his new master.
The ending about his best friend surprised me in a good way in that it was unpredictable. Overall great movie.
