Review of The Legend Is Born: Ip Man (2010) by Lapman H — 19 May 2014
While lacking the star power of Donnie yen, Ip Man Zero takes us to Ip Mans childhood.
Quick to fight the story progresses quite quickly. Establishing friendships and martial arts and their role on our characters. Demonstration of the "Wing Chun" style is mystifying, quick as the masters fight. Watching it makes you want to throw your own fists.
Centering Ip at his teen years. He is portrayed to a T the way Donnie had played Ip. So you feel comfortable with the character.
His fast fists and honor are tested in this great story of a comming of age grandmaster.
