Review of The Ledge (2011) by Erno K — 27 Jun 2011
This movie sounded a lot better on paper. I expected a fascinating debate between religious persons and people with no faith. I expected something profound. What I got was a pretty basic psychological thriller with some technical issues and an unconvincing lead actor who smirks way too much.
Liv Tyler still looks weird in the face it seems. Very distracting. Patrick Wilson does a good job and he should play psychopaths more often. He is really believable in the role of an unhinged man. Wouldn't want to fuck with this dude.
A slight disappointment, but after Sucker Punch it felt like I was watching an Oscar-worthy flick.
