Review of The Ledge (2011) by Steve P — 27 Aug 2011
A very interesting movie because of 1) a major protagonist is an atheist; 2) its philosophical basis in issues of God and faith contrasted with atheist "belief" and values; 3) it's critique of Christian fundamentalism.
Negative: 1) acting is poor by some actors; 2) dialogue a bit forced at times; the mystery is pretty easy to solve before it arrives. I'd give it 4 stars because it is a courageous foray into some difficult and complex issues despite some of its flaws.
