Outside of some very stale acting and Liv Tyler looking and sounding like she's going to cry, all the time, there is a decent movie in there. The problem is I think it's goals are a bit too lofty.
This movie packs a few big punches but doesn't communicate them the best. Ambition can be a bad thing if you've got too much of it, in this case.
