Review of The Ledge (2011) by Cheewai L — 08 Nov 2011
This was my first encounter with Charlie Hunnam and was pleased. He did a well enough job as a man placed in a horrible position; reliving the story of how he got where he is. An interesting story from a "jumper's" perspective.
The chemistry between Hunnam and Tyler seemed forced and not believable. Wilson was disturbingly persuading in his role as a fanatical religious man. Howard did a fine job as the cop battling his own demons while finding a way to prevent Hunnam from jumping.
Despite a good effort from all parties involved, this movie was altogether horribly depressing and left me with a post-movie thought of 'Well that was a pleasant couple of hours', laced with heavy sarcasm.
