Review of The Leap Years (2008) by Arry T — 29 Aug 2008
A melodramatic movie about Li-Ann, who was born on 29 February, and met Jeremy, a mysterious guy on her "sixth birthday". They made a pact to meet each other every 29 February. The movie is enjoyable and showcases Singapore pretty well.
The minus is that the dialogues can sound quite contrived sometimes, and the background music is too melodramatic and tries too hard to ruffle emotions. Corinne May songs are excellent though.
