Review of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) by Jacob V — 13 Aug 2011
Thoroughly awful film that turns a pantheon of great literary characters into an insultingly dimwitted assembly of action heroes. If you have never read a comic book, but did see Superfriends a few times when you were growing up, this is probably your idea of what comic book takes on these characters would be.
If you did read Moore's intelligent and imaginative comic, you'll be horrified by this dull, dim and unintentionally funny adaptation.
