Review of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) by Amber F — 08 Jun 2012
Another movie with such great promise. Like other movies, it showed a lot of cool ideas, but poorly executed. You will find this pretty boring if you aren't a fan of excess dialouge and confusion. If you are a fan of the literature and graphic novel, you might feel a lobotomy will be needed after watching this.
Logic does not exist in here at all. Added along with comical CGI effects, there really isn't anything to save it, not even the anti-climax. I was able to sit through it without going to sleep, but I was pretty bored.
You can definatly tell Sean Connery isn't really being in the role, like something behind the scenes is bothering him.
