Colossal waste of time. I don't expect science or actions to make sense in horror films but this was really insane. Stupid ideas, stupid methods, people acting stupid.

Group of researchers seems to think they've discovered how to raise the dead. Their one test subject (a dog) is clearly not right yet when a freak accident happens the first thought of the husband/lead scientist is to perform the procedure on his wife that was conveniently electrocuted. Things go down hill from there rather rapidly and at random. Apparently you come back with odd supernatural powers and homicidal tendencies. It doesn't come off as scary either, just random.

Probably because of the whole religious undertones that are brought up often. Wilde's character is religious, her husband is not, and she believes she has come back from Hell. We get a glimpse into this a few times but am I supposed to understand that she's a demon? I can't help but think of the film adaptation of 'Pet Sematary' and how much better sense that made overall.

Also holy continuity errors Batman. My fav is during the defibrillation scene (in which Wilde's bra is left on due to avoiding female nudity even though defibrillators do not work that way) and then the bra magically vanishes once there's a convenient sheet on hand like five minutes later with no shot of the bra ever being removed.

*facepalms*.

It was a hot mess. Emphasis on the mess.
