This movie is worth watching for the dated (but good at the time) CG that is used. The plot is simple, a dumb guy uses VR in order to become smart but becomes too smart and turns against his creator.
It is easy to see where The Matrix got the idea of downloading information from because this film uses the same concept. There is nothing really that special about this film but if you are geeky then it is worth watching to see just how much technology has progressed and also to laugh at the opening statement that says the by the turn of the millennium (year 2000) VR would be everywhere.
