Review of The Lawnmower Man (1992) by Kay C — 29 Jun 2007
Conceptually, this had some neat ideas. Unfortunately, every last one of them suffered an abrupt death in the early stages of this badly-written screenplay. This could have been an interesting exploration of the nature of intelligence and control of technology; instead, we end up with some hysterical over-acting by Pierce Brosnan, a guy in a glowing wetsuit going on a mad rampage with his vengeful lawnmower, and the bizarre impression that IQ is directly proportionate to the use of hair gel.
