Review of The Late George Apley (1947) by Emily H — 02 May 2009
This movie is really lovely. It has heart and in a way, though society has so greatly changed, still relevant. Ronald Colman is an endearing father who learns to loosen his tight grip on his children and their lives.
Definitely worth a viewing if you love older films and an earlier work of Mankiewicz.
