Review of The Last Word (2017) by Lara G — 26 Mar 2017
Some movies just shouldn't be made. If someone writes a script, they should ask someone who has seen many films and is well read to peruse it and redline any cliché that has been seen 8000 times. Unfortunately for this script, there would not be any words left untouched.
And just because a film is aware of itself doesn't mean it is okay to include exploitive plot lines. Also removal of the giant signs that tell one LAUGH HERE or CRY HERE should be excised immediately, especially when the writers ignore the advice to avoid clichés.
