Review of The Last Word (2008) by Andrew S — 23 May 2009
This film had more potential than it showed. The concept was original and unique they even had a really decent cast lined up. But I think it fell a little flat. The mood didn't really feel consistent over the course of the film.
Winoda Ryder performance was really weak. Her acting was really flat and some of her scenes felt really forced at times. Bently was the stronger of the two performers for sure. I think the script felt a little off beat at parts and slightly pretentious at times.
I liked the overall plot of the film but just felt it never really went anywhere.
