I think Winona Ryder gives an excellent performance as the free-spirited Charlotte. But I don't feel there romance is real enough. However it is great to see Ryder in a romantic comedy again. How long has it been since we enjoyed her in REALITY BITES? It is hard to believe she is 37-year-old already.
Bittom line? I enjoyed this movie but it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be and I didn't think she had the right chemistry with Wes Bentley. If you like Winona Ryder, give it a try.
