This movie knew what it was and went for it. It looks like all the negative reviews are just hating on Vin Diesel, and to be fair his greatest characters only say 4 words, but he went and Vin Dieseled the crap out of his character.
If you want a predictable sword and sorc movie where you don't have to think to hard, this is a good watch. For me I would have rather seen Jason Statham as the starring role.
