Review of The Last Witch Hunter (2015) by Trky B — 04 Feb 2016

A perfect movie? Not at all, but I found this action/fantasy film to have its charms. The dialogue is weak and the effects seemed lazy, but the mythology of this world is really fascinating and I want to dive deeper into it.

I thought Vin Diesel and Rose Leslie had good chemistry with each other. I think the script could've had a better sense of humor about itself, at times it felt a little gloomy and the direction was very scattered, but I know I'd like to explore this world some more.

Give this film a shot, odds are you'll think it's dumb, but mate you'll find something to appreciate about it like I did.
