The concept was great, the effects were pretty cool, the main villain had promise, the actors were more than capable and Vin Diesel is a reliable action-star. Unfortunately, this film lacks what most good action movies needs-- action and a really good showdown with the main villain. Yeah, the token confrontation with the hero and the villain happens but the confrontation was a bit lackluster. Overall, it was good but it could have been a heck of a lot better.
