Review of The Last Witch Hunter (2015) by Lloyd T — 28 Oct 2015
The Last Witch Hunter delivered what it promised: a urban fantasy adventure where Vin Diesel hunts witches in the modern era in order to avert the Apocalypse. His performance was standard Diesel but the real strength of this movie was the magical setting.
The glimpses of the magical world we got through Kaulder's and Chloe's eyes was incredible. It had texture, substance, and made you wonder more about their history since the Witch Queen died than Kaulder.
As someone said to me, this seemed to be a live action D&D session. There is definitely an audience for this movie!
