Review of The Last Witch Hunter (2015) by Kevin R — 13 Feb 2016
Magic.
A witch hunter has spent almost 1,000 years hunting and imprisoning witches. The witches in prison form a covenant and break out of prison on a mission to rule the world working together. The witch hunter will need to bond with a new group of friends to bring them down.
"Do you know what I'm afraid of?".
"Enlighten me.".
"Nothing.".
Breck Eisner, director of The Crazies, Sahara, Thoughtcrimes, and Beyond, delivers The Last Witch Hunter. The storyline for this picture was on par with Van Helsing and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter from this genre. The acting is just okay and the cast includes Vin Diesel, Elijah Wood, Rena Owen, Rose Leslie, Michael Caine, Rena Owen, and Olafur Darri Olafsson.
"You can't change what you don't own.".
We saw the previews for this when it was in theatres and targeted it when it was recently released from Red Box. I was disappointed with this and found it surprising this cast thought this would be successful. This was a waste of time and I recommend skipping it.
"I wasn't born a priest.".
Grade: C-.
