Review of The Last Winter (2006) by Pamela H — 13 Apr 2009
Set in Alaska's back country, this slow moving film tries too hard to address climate change while trying to be scary. An oil drilling company sends Ed (Perlman) to check on the progress of his team at base camp, only to find the camp faced with strange, unexplained occurrences which begin to quickly effect the outcome of the teams project.
With its far-fetched plot and anti-climatic ending, you will end up with more questions than answers.
