Review of The Last Winter (2006) by Dan T — 25 Apr 2009
Ill admit it. I jumped a few times, was scared many times, and I was eager to see the ending. When the ending came around however, I was so darn confused with it, I had to search the internet to find out what the hell the ending meant.
I had a an idea, which I was pretty dead on close to understanding the ending. But I ask this, why do movies always try to have a purpose? In other words, why do movies like this, have to have a deep meaning to it.
Anxious the whole movie, then to get to this terrible ending made me sad. I will say, the first hour and 30 min are absolutely fantastic. The last 11......... yeah. I felt like I was seeing the reincarnation of Rocky, from Rocky and Bullwinkle, in ghost form, killing dudes in Alaska.
