Review of The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh (2012) by Andrei D — 28 Aug 2013
Clearly screenwriter and director Rodrigo Gudino is passionate about this sort of subject matter, because if he wasn't, this film would absolutely never have been made. The first fifty minutes are excruciating to endure, and while the end may provide a few genuine scares, it's simply not worth it.
The plot becomes muddled in itself, but that tends to happen when you have literally one actor in the entire movie. My favorite part of this film was the final dialogue presented by the mother from beyond the grave.
For some reason, it struck a chord with me. Bottom line, this is not a very good movie and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone really.
