Mistakenly thought of as just a concert on tape, The Last Waltz is the story of one of the world's greatest bands-- The Band-- a band that time has seemed to have forgotten. The Last Waltz chronicles their early days up until their last moments on stage together, with stories of their own and from other performers who knew them best.
In my opinion, Scorsese's finest, the best rockumentory ever made, with the best soundtrack imaginable. Sadly, a forgotten gem.
