Review of The Last Waltz (1978) by Evan D — 31 Jul 2008
Someone recently turned me onto this film. My family had close relations to The Band and it let me understand that time and what it was like to live that music scene. Scorsese did such a great archival service that is timeless and of absolute quality.
Every time I see this movie I forget that those people are 30 years older now and some aren't even alive how wonderful for anyone my age and younger to experience a once and a lifetime event such as this.
