Review of The Last Unicorn (1982) by Brandon C — 13 Jul 2010
I watched this as a child and sure, I loved it, but the reason I STILL love it is because it lead me to a broken down paper back of the orginal novel lost in the stacks of my college. You can't deny the beauty of this dark fairy tale and the charm of the soundtrack.
This ages well, particularly with the digital remaster. Critics of this childhood classic have clearly forgotten what and who fairy tales are for. (pssst, hers a hint, they're for entertaining CHILDREN).
