Based on the novel by Peter Beagle, this film was completely animated in Japan. I would have rated this movie with 5 stars if it wasn't for its terrible soundtrack and weak voice acting such as Mia Farrow as the unicorn from the title and Jeff Bridges as the most annoying ever prince of fairy tales stories.
