Well I watched this because it was in the old VHS collection and it actually got better from when I watched it as a child. As a child I found this way to girly but its not that bad. The animation is very sleek for an 80's cartoon and has some nice voice work.
The only problem is the voice acting is good ,but that dose not mean they can sing. Sometimes when they sing it can get very scratchy. The story is really cool and has a unique way of setting up a story like this.
So in the end its a nicely animated kids film, but the singing can get really bad.
