Review of The Last Unicorn (1982) by James M — 06 Mar 2010
I thought this was too long and a tad slow. But my 5 and 3 year old boys said they really liked it. The red fire bull really was fun for them. The movie is a bit dark and scary, but the unicorn and songs seem magical and nice.
It's rated G, but there is a crazy scene where the magician is strapped to a tree and he turns it into a woman and his head is stuck between two huge lumps which can only be her boobs. It was very disturbing to see that in a children's film. Luckily our boys are too young to "get it.".
