This literally is my favorite movie of all time! I love the look of the movie and from the opening song the music grabs hold of you and takes you on a wonderful adventure. Great characters from The Unicorn/Amalthea, The butterfly, Molly Grue, The Red Bull and my favorite the bumbling but charismatic Schmendrick the Magician.
Stays true to the book and is just a fantastic journey from start to finish. The old school animation is extremely beautiful compared to the anime world of today. I used to manage a video store and my employees were not always enthusiastic about the fact that I would play this movie 20-30 times a week but they all rented it as well to enjoy it at home.
If you have not seen it you will enjoy it immensely. A love story with enough action and adventure for the entire family. Enchanting from start to finish. So enjoy! I know I have thousands of times over and over again!
