Review of The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) by Vesa L — 04 Mar 2008
Willem Dafoe is very fishlike (and this is not to object to his alleged 'human-likeness', quite the contrary) in Jesus' role, and I may not be a fan of Scorsese's distance to his subjects but Keitel's Judas keeps intriguing and offering philosophical challenge to the film.
I do appreciate the film's big twist.
