Charming film about an escaped mental patient who wanders the desert circa 30 A.D. and convinces a small group of fellow mental patients - all poor and on mind altering drugs - that he is an alien from another dimension and that they will be transported to said dimension after death if they follow a few arbitrary rules, like not fucking each other in the butt or eating on Saturdays.
2000 years later it's still a comedy classic.
