Review of The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) by Christine D — 23 Dec 2008
Even if this already wasn't one of the best movies ever made (which it is), it's worth five stars alone for Harvey Kietel playing Judas with a Bronx accent. Luckily, everyone, from the cast to the crew, to the wonderful script, exceeds every expectation one could ever have for a great movie.
They also happen to create a new paradigm for passion put into film as well, and that's rare indeed.
