Review of The Last Station (2009) by Karen W — 02 Mar 2010
I am sure there are snippits of fantastic insight and grace to be found in this film. Each character seems to have a moving and generous experience to share, unfortunately these are buried by the fantastically poor editing and unfocussed story telling of what is essentially a long, teary eyed, overacted, yet incredibly boring account of the people surrounding Tolstoy at the end of his life.
