A brilliant cast for a brilliant adaptation of a brilliant novel about the last days of a brilliant writer.
Lev tolstoy, at his time the most celebrated writer in the world, is caught between the the will of his followers and the great but troubling love he and his wife share. all this recorded through the eyes of his you idealistic and naive secretary.
A great drama, with moments of humour and romance, a refreshing lack of cliches and a powerful ending.
