I like the message behind very much... It is in fact telling an all-times story of marriages...Contradiction between husbands & wives, pride, greed & selfishness always ruin marriages...(applies to nowadays marriages as well!)... But when one's life is almost at an end, it's absolutely a gift if one still have him/her staying besides...a person who is unconditionally loving him/her......
The love of the "old" couple Sofya & Tolstoy are so sweet & valuable making you so speechless & sighed at the end.......
