Any movie with James McAvoy in it cannot be too bad (yes that includes Bollywood Queen).
Objectively, this is a solid movie with great acting. I like that it is quite faithful to the book, though the portrayal of the love/hate relationship of Tolstoy and his wife Sofya is more touching than in writing.
