What did Tolstoy and Jane Austen have in common? James McAvoy, in case you didn't know! He has played Tolstoy's secretary and Austen's lover. It makes you wonder though, which iconic writer's biopic his worn out nervous and naive romantic will pop up in next! This was a rather adequate biopic, though I personally would have loved to see an account from the earlier and more creative years of Tolstoy.
