Review of The Last Station (2009) by Marta K — 30 Sep 2010
The creation of Hellen Mirren has made even my cold-blooded heart weep silently. More of a portrait of Tolstoy it is a story of... can it be more cheesy? Love! It's different faces. How it evolves, changes to, finally and all in all, stay the same - stay an invincible, powerful emotion.
How far was the movie bibliographical - I don't know - it should however evoke curiosity and make a viewer-researcher invesitgate it himself.
