Review of The Last Station (2009) by Steve P — 29 Jan 2012
Tedious, irritating, mostly pointless. I was hoping for a great drama on Tolstoy's life, and instead I came away thinking that Tolstoy was a naive, easily-manipulated, selfish pratt. (Glad I haven't gotten around to reading any of his books, because now I won't).
Good performances by Christopher Plummer and Helen Mirren, who received Oscar nominations for their efforts.
